Inventory
Manage products, stock levels, warehouses, and assembly.
The Inventory module provides comprehensive stock management. Navigate to Inventory in the sidebar.
Inventory Items
Track physical products with purchase prices, sale prices, and stock levels.
Item Fields

| Purchase Price | Cost to buy (cents) |
| Sale Price | Price to sell (cents) |

Item Details
Each item has detail pages for:
- Variants - Size, color, or other variations of the same product
- Suppliers - Which suppliers provide this item and at what price
- History - Transaction history showing all stock movements
Categories
Organize items into categories for easier browsing and reporting. Navigate to Inventory > Categories.
Stock Adjustments
Adjust quantities from the item detail page:
- Enter a positive number to add stock
- Enter a negative number to remove stock
- Provide a reason for the adjustment
The system prevents negative stock levels.
Low Stock Alerts
Items at or below their reorder point are highlighted with a Low Stock badge. Navigate to Inventory > Alerts for a consolidated view of all low-stock items.
Warehouses
Track stock across multiple locations. See Warehouses for details.
Stock Transfers
Move inventory between warehouses. Navigate to Inventory > Transfers to create and manage transfers.
Stock Takes
Conduct physical inventory counts. See Stock Takes for details.
Assembly and Bill of Materials
Define how finished products are assembled from components. See Assembly and BOM for details.
Inventory Valuation
Navigate to Inventory > Valuation to view the total value of your inventory, broken down by item and optionally by warehouse.
Dashboard Stats
The inventory page shows:
- Total Items - Number of active products
- Total Value - Sum of (quantity x purchase price)
- Low Stock - Count of items at/below reorder point
