Business Activity Statement (BAS)

The BAS is a form submitted to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to report GST, PAYG withholding, and other tax obligations. Navigate to Tax > BAS to generate your statement.

Prerequisites
- Set up GST tax rates (typically 10%) in your organization settings
- Apply GST to invoices and expenses as appropriate
- Close the relevant tax period before generating
BAS Sections

PAYG Withholding
If you use the payroll module, PAYG amounts withheld from employee pay are included.
PAYG Instalments
Estimated income tax instalments based on your reported income.
Lodging
dubbl generates the data for your BAS. Lodge through the ATO Business Portal or your registered tax agent.
Frequency
- Monthly - For businesses with GST turnover of $20 million or more
- Quarterly - Most common for small to medium businesses
